Vabljeni, da se avgusta 2023 udeležite poletne šole Turku Åbo, ki se nahaja v enem najbolj tradicionalnem in priljubljenem študijskem mestu na Finskem. 

Poletna šola Turku Åbo ponuja 16 aktualnih, obsežnih in v celoti akreditiranih tečajev s glavnih področji petih visokošolskih ustanov v regiji Turku. Pridobite lahko najnovejša znanja s področja oblikovanja iger, družbene trajnosti v financiranju, urbanističnega načrtovanja in še več!

četrtek, 1. december 2022 Se odpravljaš na izmenjavo v Francijo? Are you planning an exchange in France?

CILEC je del Univerze Saint-Etienne, ki se razprostira na pet kampusov in vsako leto sprejme in usposablja več kot 20.000 študentov, med njimi 3.000 tujih. Univerza pokriva različna področja kot so znanost, tehnologija, zdravje, humanistične in družbene vede, pravo, ekonomijo, upravljanje, umetnost, književnost in jezike.

Pod Univerzo spada center “le CILEC” (Centre International de Langue Et Civilisation / International Language and Civilization Center), ki je specializiran za poučevanje francoščine za tujce in je kategoriziran z Qualité FLE 3*, kar pomeni, da zagotavlja primerno kakovost sprejema, profesorjev, učenja, upravljanja in prostorov. 

Izpitni center DELF DALF ponuja raznolike tečaje francoščine za različne Fakultete in Univerze. Poleg tega pa ponuja tudi raznolike študijske programe in krajše programe za mednarodne študente.

Tečaji glede na specializacijo študenta in študijski načrt:

 The CILEC is a part of Saint-Etienne University. Spread over 5 campuses, the university welcomes and trains more than 20,000 students each year, including 3,000 foreign students, in a wide range of professions in the fields of Science, Technology, Health, Human and social sciences, Law, Economics, Management, Arts, Literature and languages. University has a centre specialized in teaching French to foreigners: "le CILEC" (Centre International de Langue Et Civilisation / International Language and Civilization Center).

This centre has obtained the Label Qualité FLE 3*, which guarantees the quality of the reception, the teachers, the teaching, the management and the premises. Študenti in diplomanti UP ste vabljeni k sodelovanju na natečaju EUSAIR Academy Youth Contest. Odgovorite na vprašanje “How can young people contribute (better) to EUSAIR?” in svoj prispevek v obliki članka, raziskave, projektnega predloga, fotografije, zgodbe, video-posnetka ali tik-tok videa pošljite na info@uniadrion.net.

Namen natečaja je sodelovanje mladih v dejavnostih EU z razvijanjem razumevanja in zavedanje o procesu oblikovanja politike EU, s posebnim poudarkom na EUSAIR (Strategija EU za Jadransko in Jonsko regijo). 

Dopišite svoje ime in priimek, državo in naslov prispevka. Izbranih bo 10 tekmovalcev, ki bodo lahko osvojili denarno nagrado (150€) in brezplačen obisk evropskih institucij v Bruslju med 10. in 14. oktobrom 2022 in (kritje stroškov nastanitve in poti v višini 1.200€).

Take part at the EUSAIR Academy Youth Contest! University students and young graduates of the University of Primorska can participate by answering the question: “How can young people contribute (better) to EUSAIR?” and sending an e-mail to info@uniadrion.net specifying the name, surname, country, and title of the work.

The “EUSAIR ACADEMY YOUTH CONTEST” is  aimed to involve and stimulate the participation of young people in EU activities by developing their understanding and awareness of the EU policy-making process, with a specific focus on the EUSAIR, European Union Strategy for Adriatic and Ionian Region.

The final work can be a position paper, a project proposal, a survey, an audio-visual representation, a photo collection, stories, reels or Tik Tok.

10 young people will be selected and the winners will receive a money prize of 150.00 € and a week at the European Institutions in October 2022 fully covered by the project (1.200,00 € for each winner’s cost of traveling, accommodation, and board).

torek, 16. avgust 2022 V sodelovanju z Univerzo Claude Bernard Lyon 1, ustvarili spletno aplikacijo za uravnavanje temperature/// In collaboration with the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1, create an Web-based temperature regulation application

Fakulteta za matematiko, naravoslovje in informacijske tehnologije (UP FAMNIT), je tokrat gostila Dr. Prof. Lionela Medinija, ki se je v sklopu ERASMUS + izmenjave udeležil enotedenskega obiska od 2. avgusta do 8. avgusta 2022, pri Prof., dr. Michaelu Mrissi. 

Dr. Medini je raziskovalec in izredni profesor računalništva na univerzi Claude Bernard Lyon 1 v Franciji. 

Obisk je bil namenjen tako raziskovalnim diskusijam, prenosu znanj in tudi predavanjem, katera so bila sestavljena iz treh različnih delov. Prvi del je vseboval tematiko o internetu stvari (IoT), in umetni inteligenci (Ai), sledil je razvoj spleta stvari (WoT) in kot zadnja razvoj spletnih aplikacij.

Predavanja so se neposredno navezovala na praktično delo, kjer so študentje eksperimentirali in uporabljali strojno opremo v lasti Univerze Claude Bernard Lyon 1.  Tako so s pomočjo znanja in primerne opreme  ustvarili spletno aplikacijo za uravnavanje temperature.

Spletna aplikacija dinamično zazna dejavnost uporabnika in tako tudi ustrezno prilagodi njihovo minimalno in maksimalno nastavitveno temperaturo.

The Faculty for Mathematics, Natural Science and Information Technologies (UP FAMNIT), hosted Dr. Lionel Medini, who took part in a one-week ERASMUS + exchange, from 2. August to 8. August 2022, where he collaborated with Prof. dr. Michael Mrissa.  

Dr. Medini is a researcher and associate professor in computer science from Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University in France.  

The purpose of the visit was both research discussion, knowledge transfer and lectures, which consisted of the first part about the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), a second part about Web of Things (WoT) development, and the third part about Web application development. 

Each lecture was combined with a practical session where the students could experiment with the technologies and with physical hardware lent by Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, through which they were able to create a Web-based temperature regulation application 

The Web application dynamically detects users' activity and adjusts their minimum and maximum temperature preferences accordingly.

Additional Open Call for applications for co-financing the mobility for teaching staff in the fall semester 2022/23 within the ERASMUS+ program within the Transform4Europe Alliance.

In 2022, the University of Primorska concluded one of the objectives of the Medium-term Development Strategy 2021-2027 and became an associate member of the European University Transform4Europe (T4E), as one of the 41 European universities representing the initiative of the European Commission, the purpose of which is to increase the attractiveness and competitiveness of the European higher education area in the world.

petek, 22. julij 2022 Zgodbe mednarodnega sodelovanja in mobilnost profesorjev in raziskovalcev na UP FAMNIT // Stories of international cooperation and mobility of professors and researchers at UP FAMNIT

Fakulteta za matematiko, naravoslovje in informacijske tehnologije (UP FAMNIT) aktivno spodbuja mednarodno sodelovanje in mobilnost profesorjev in raziskovalcev. Tudi tokrat ponosno predstavljamo izkušnje naših raziskovalcev, ki so bili aktivno vključeni v mednarodno okolje, ter s tem prejeli dragocene izkušnje. Med njimi so doc. dr. Maja Smrdu, doc. dr. Nino Bašić in doc. dr. Vida Groznik,  ki so nam zaupali nekaj svojih doživetij.

Doc. dr. Maja Smrdu, specialistka klinične psihologije z Oddelka za psihologijo, se je udeležila mobilnosti na Univerzi v Haifi v Izraelu, gostovala je pri profesorici Avivi Berkovich-Ohana vodji nevrofenomenološkega laboratorija, ki deluje v okviru univerze.  Na univerzi je predavala Mikrofenomenologijo in deskriptivno vzorčenje izkušenj. Kot je sama izpostavila, je bila deležna zelo raznolikega kroga študentov, ki so imeli izredno željo po znanju, ter tudi odličen pristop do znanosti. Vnema do dela je bila prisotna tako pri profesorjih in študentih, kot tudi pri udeležencih v študijah, ki so se odvijale v času njenega obiska. »Prav izmenjava znanj ter neposredna vključenost v skupne projekte je bil tisti ključni motivator za izmenjavo«, je povedala doc. dr. Smrdu.

Skozi raziskovalno delo je prepoznala visoko incidenco posttravmatske stresne motnje v Izraelu, zaradi česar so tam pogoste teme raziskovanja dojemanje lastne umrljivosti, smrti, zdravljenje s psilocibinom in vpliv meditacije na našo zavest in jaz. »Vsi trije meseci so bili precej intenzivni in so mi po eni strani dali potrditev znanja, ki ga imamo v Sloveniji in na FAMNITu in se ga morda sami premalo zavedamo«, povzema.  

Verjame, da imamo na fakulteti veliko raziskovalnega zagona, idej in povezav za katere upa, da bodo v prihodnje prinesle dolgotrajno sodelovanje in razširile znanje o tem kdo smo, kako se naše doživljanje povezuje z delovanjem naših možganov in kako lahko izboljšamo zdravljenje različnih duševnih bolezni.

Doc. dr. Nino Bašić z Oddelka za informacijske znanosti in tehnologije se je udeležil mednarodne izmenjave na Univerzi v Sheffieldu v Veliki Britaniji. Kot glavni motiv za izmenjavo pa je izpostavil delo z uglednim profesorjem Patrickom W. Fowlerjem, FRS (Fellow of the Royal Society), strokovnjakom s področja teoretične kemije,s katerim sta že objavila dva znanstvena članka, ki sta nastala med izmenjavo, trije pa so še v pripravi.

Poleg tega je doc. dr. Bašić je na gostujoči univerzi predaval izbrana poglavja iz matematične kemije, po njegovih besedah pa je ERASMUS+ izmenjava odlična priložnost za doseganje novih znanj in izzivov, ki jih ponuja novo okolje. Sam si tako želi izkušnjo ponoviti tudi v prihodnje.

Pedagoško-raziskovalnega obiska na Univerzi v Cádizu v Španiji se je udeležila doc. dr. Vida Groznik, ravno tako z Oddelka za informacijske znanosti in tehnologije, kjer je doktorskim študentom nanoznanosti predajala znanje s področja umetne inteligence. Zaradi zanimive tematike so se jim pridružili tudi študenti drugih področij (medicine, psihologije, ipd.), saj so bila predavanja in praktične vaje zastavljene na način, da so bila primerna tudi za študente, ki nimajo predznanja s področja računalništva oz. programiranja.

Raziskovalno je sodelovala predvsem z uveljavljenimi raziskovalci na področju neonatologije z Univerze v Cádizu in Univerzitetne bolnišnice Puerta del Mar, kjer so se osredotočali na uporabo pristopov umetne inteligence za zgodnjo diagnostiko nevrokognitivnih motenj pri nedonošenčkih.

Vsi trije udeleženci mednarodne izmenjave so se strinjali, da gre za nepozabno izkušnjo z veliko dragocenih znanj ter da bi jo nedvomno ponovili tudi v prihodnje.

The Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies (UP FAMNIT) actively promotes international cooperation and mobility of professors and researchers. We are proud to present the experiences of our researchers, who have recently been actively involved in the international environment and received valuable experience. Among them are Assist. Prof. Maja Smrdu, Assist. Prof. Nino Bašić and Assist. Prof. Vida Groznik, who have shared some of their experiences with us.

Assist. Prof. Maja Smrdu a clinical psychology specialist from the Department of Psychology, attended mobility at the University of Haifa in Israel. During her exchange, she was a guest of Professor Aviva Berkovich-Ohana, head of the neurophenomenology laboratory, that operates within the university. At the university, she lectured on Microphenomenology and descriptive sampling of experiences.

As she pointed out, she had the opportunity to work with a very diverse group of students who had the desire for knowledge and an excellent approach to science. Enthusiasm for work was present among professors, students and participants during her visit. »The exchange of knowledge and direct involvement in projects was the key motivator for the exchange,« said Assist. Prof. Smrdu.

During her research, she recognized the high incidence of post-traumatic stress disorder in Israel, which makes it a frequent subject to explore perceptions of our mortality, death, treatment with psilocybin and the impact of meditation on our consciousness. »All three months were quite intense and somehow gave me a confirmation of the knowledge we have in Slovenia and at FAMNIT, which we may not be aware of ourselves," she sums up.

She believes that we have a lot of research momentum, ideas and connections at the faculty. She hopes that will lead to long-term cooperation in the future and expand knowledge about who we are, how our experience is connected to the functioning of our brain and how we can improve the treatment of various mental illnesses.

Assist. Prof. Nino Bašić from the Department of Information Sciences and Technologies participated in an international exchange at the University of Sheffield in Great Britain. As the primary motive for exchange, he highlighted the work with the prominent Patrick W. Fowler, FRS (Fellow of the Royal Society), an expert in the field of theoretical chemistry, with whom he had already published two scientific papers during the exchange, while three more are in preparation.

In addition, Assist. Prof. Bašić lectured selected topics in mathematical chemistry at the visiting university. According to him, the ERASMUS+ exchange is an excellent opportunity to gain new knowledge offered by a new environment and he is looking forward to repeat the experience in the future.

Assist. Prof. Vida Groznik also from the Department of Information Sciences and Technologies, took part in the teaching and research visit to the University of Cádiz in Spain, where she transferred knowledge on artificial intelligence to doctoral nanoscience students. Due to the interesting topic, students from other fields (medicine, psychology, etc.)  joined them, as the lectures and practical exercises were designed in such a way, that they were also suitable for students, who have no prior knowledge of computer science or programming.

She collaborated mainly with established researchers in the field of neonatology from the University of Cádiz and the Puerta del Mar University Hospital, where they focused on the use of artificial intelligence approaches for the early diagnosis of neurocognitive disorders in premature infants.

Madžarski kulturni center v Ljubljani bo danes, 23.5.2022, ob 15.00 predstavil priložnosti za študijsko mobilnost in prakso na Madžarskem. Dogodek bo potekal online.
Predstavili se bodo predstavniki skupine OTP, raziskovalni inštitut ELI-ALPS, Javni sklad Tempus ter Tajda Hladnik, ki ima za sabo že dve mobilnosti na Madžarskem.

The Hungarian Cultural Center in Ljubljana will present opportunities for study mobility and traineeships in Hungary. The event will be held online today, 23 May 2022, at 3 pm.

Representatives of the OTP Group, the ELI-ALPS Research Institute, the Tempus Public Fund and Tajda Hladnik, who has already completed two mobilities in Hungary, will present themselves.

ponedeljek, 11. april 2022 Edinstven projekt za mlade - Travel Different for Future / A unique youth project - Travel Different for Future

Predstavljamo vam mladinski mednarodni projekt »Travel Different for Future«, ki poteka v sodelovanju z nemško organizacijo JANUN Hannover e.V. Več o projektu si lahko preberete na novi spletni strani projekta: https://www.traveldifferent.org/si 

V trenutni fazi projekta iščejo mlade med 18. in 28. letom, da se jim pridružite pri edinstvenem dveletnem slovensko‑nemškem projektu na temo potovanja in izobraževanja. Pri projektu boste pridobili kompetence s področja neformalnega izobraževanja in izobraževanja za trajnostni razvoj. Naučili se boste, kako delati z mladimi ter kako ustvariti mednarodne projekte in seminarje. Brezplačno se boste lahko udeležili treh mednarodnih usposabljanj. Pridobili boste neprecenljive izkušnje s področja ekipnega dela, in sicer v sodelovanju z mednarodno ekipo zanimivih ljudi, ki si želijo izboljšati svet s promoviranjem drugačnega načina potovanja. We present you the youth international project »Travel Different for Future«, which takes place in cooperation with the German organization JANUN Hannover e.V. You can read more about the project on the new project website: https://www.traveldifferent.org/en

In the current phase of the project, they are looking for young people between the ages of 18 and 28 to join them in a unique two-year Slovenian-German project on travel and education. The project will provide you with competencies in the fields of non-formal education and education for sustainable development. You will learn how to work with young people and how to create international projects and seminars. You will be able to attend three international trainings free of charge. You will gain invaluable experience in the field of teamwork, in collaboration with an international team of interesting people who want to improve the world by promoting a different way of traveling. Objavljen je Erasmus+ razpis za študente. Razpis omogoča prijave za študijske izmenjave ali izmenjave z namenom praktičnega usposabljanja v obdobju od 1. 6. 2022 do 30. 10. 2023.

Rok za oddajo prijave je 28. februar 2022.

sreda, 9. februar 2022 ARPEL4Entrep project - Online Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurship

You are kindly invited to apply for a new Erasmus+ funded project ARPEL4Entrep - Online Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurship.

The collaborating partners in the projects are University of Bari Aldo Moro (Italy), University of Ioannina (Greece), University of Zilina (Slovakia), Vilnius University (Lithuania), AllSecure Ltd -eBusiness Systems (Malta), Advenio eAcademy (Malta) and EUCEN European University Continuing Education Network (Belgium).

The scope of the project is to leverage the infrastructure and competencies of the partners in e-learning and their collective expertise and resources in creating a programme that would encourage entrepreneurs to earn a 180 ECTS credit Level 6 Bachelors’ Degree in Entrepreneurship.  The Erasmus+ cofounded project offers 40 FULL SCHOLARSHIPS each worth c.EUR 8,600 for the Pilot Intake. Entry Requirements and the admission process are as follows.

Entry Requirements:

• successful completion of an approved secondary qualification,
• evidence of English language proficiency of IELTS level 5 results, or equivalent certificate and
• minimum of 4 years of entrepreneurial work experience in middle/senior level within an SME environment.

Admission Process:

• Complete the ARPEL Registration via the ARPEL4Enrep Website. Click here to start the registration process.
• ARPEL team will evaluate the application and will get back to you if any additional documents are required. Upon completion of the preliminary evaluation, you will be invited to attend an online Evaluation Interview.
• The results of the Evaluation interview with the final ECTS score in the ARPEL process at Level 6 will be notified to you via email.
• If the ECTS credits earned is equal to or above 74 students will be eligible for the full scholarship award. This will be offered to the 40 highest placed candidates. Once selected applicants will be invited to proceed with the programme on the basis of the terms and conditions provided.
• Applicants that are not successful in this scholarship application will be invited to participate in the following intake for which partial scholarships will also be available.

Odprt je nov razpis za štipendijo Best of South-East za študijsko leto 2022/23.
Best of South-East (BOSE) je štipendijski program, ki ga je pričela Steiermärkische Sparkasse, in je program usposabljanja in izobraževanja za nadarjene in predane študente iz Slovenije, Hrvaške, Bosne in Hercegovine, Srbije, Črne gore in Severne Makedonije.

Štipendijski program traja 12 mesecev in na Montanuniversität Leoben vključuje:

• štipendijo v višini 750 EUR mesečno za celo leto (zagotavlja Steiermärkische Sparkasse),
• štipendijo za 2 semestra mobilnosti na Montanuniveristät Leoben (zimski in poletni semester),
• 2-mesečno praktično usposabljanje (julija in avgusta), ki si ga študent organizira sam;

The new call for the Best of South-East scholarship for the academic year 2022/23 is now open.
Best of South-East (BOSE) is a scholarship program initiated by the Steiermärkische Sparkasse, and is a training and education program for talented and dedicated students from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia.

The scholarship program lasts 12 months and includes at Montanuniversität Leoben:

• a scholarship of 750 EUR monthly for an entire year (provided by Steiermärkische Sparkasse),
• a scholarship for a 2-semester mobility program at Montanuniveristät Leoben (winter and summer semesters),
• a self-organized 2-month trainee program or internship (in July and August);
