Po uspešnem prvem dogodku FilmUP! vas vabimo, da se nam znova pridružite! Tokrat si bomo ogledali dokumentarni film V tišini življenja (2024), ki je delo režiserke Nine Blažin.
Film bo podnaslovljen v angleščino, projekciji pa bo sledil pogovor z režiserko v slovenščini, kjer bodo gledalci imeli priložnost postavljati vprašanja in izvedeti več o nastajanju filma.
O filmu:
Močna ženska, promotorka paliativne oskrbe Manca Košir, dobi diagnozo raka, a ves čas slavi življenje. Film raziskuje tudi režiserkino izkušnjo izgube očeta. Z domačimi videi mame, ki jih je posnela režiserka, razmišlja o očetovi odsotnosti in material prepleta z Mančino zgodbo. Film ponudi gledalcem priložnost razmišljati o lastni izgubi, umrljivosti. Kako čas vpliva na naše spomine, našo izgubo? Kreativni observacijski film raziskuje sprejemanje časa in praznovanje življenja. Kaj boste storili s časom, ki vam je na voljo?
O režiserki:
Nina Blažin je leta 2006 diplomirala iz televizijske in filmske režije na AGRFT. Njen celovečerni prvenec Koliko se ljubiš? je prejel vesno za najboljši dokumentarec na Festivalu slovenskega filma leta 2018.
Dogodek je namenjen vsem zaposlenim in študentom UP, ki jih zanima sodobni dokumentarni film, ustvarjalni proces filmske režije ali želijo izvedeti več o tematikah, ki jih film izpostavlja.

After the successful first FilmUP! event, we warmly invite you to join us again! This time, we will screen the documentary The Silence of Life (2024), directed by Nina Blažin.
The film will be subtitled in English, and the screening will be followed by a discussion with the director in Slovenian, where the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the filmmaking process.
About the film:
A strong woman, palliative care advocate Manca Košir, receives a cancer diagnosis yet continues to celebrate life throughout. The film also explores the director’s personal experience of losing her father. Through videos of her mother, recorded by the director, she reflects on her father’s absence, intertwining this material with Manca’s story. The film offers viewers an opportunity to reflect on their own experiences of loss and mortality. How does time shape our memories and our sense of loss? This creative observational film explores the acceptance of time and the celebration of life. What will you do with the time you are given?
About the director:
Nina Blažin graduated in 2006 in television and film directing from the AGRFT. Her feature debut How Much Do You Love Yourself? received the Vesna Award for Best Documentary at the Festival of Slovenian Film in 2018.
The event is intended for all UP employees and students interested in contemporary documentary film, the creative process of film directing, or in learning more about the themes addressed in the film.
