četrtek, 7. marec 2024 Predstavitev avtonomnega vozila//Live demonstration of an AEB vehicle

Toralf Trautmann, priznan fizik in profesor na Univerzi za uporabne znanosti v Dresdnu (HTWD), bo v četrtek, 14. marca 2024, ob 15. uri, na parkirišču pred objektom Livade 1.0 v Izoli izvedel simulacijo avtonomne vožnje in predstavitev vozila. Dogodek je namenjen vsem navdušencem, ki jih zanima avtomobilska programska oprema in njen razvoj.

V okviru ponedeljkovega seminarja pa bo dr. Trautmann delil vpogled v svoje raziskovalno področje in predstavil svojo pot pri razvoju avtonomnega vozila skupaj s svojo raziskovalno skupino.

Njegova raziskovalna področja zajemajo razvoj in testiranje naprednih sistemov, ki neposredno pomagajo vozniku, senzorjev v okolju in zbiranje podatkov( Lidar, Radar, Kamera), postopke odobritve avtonomnih vozil ter razvoj programske opreme in izdelavo prototipov z uporabo Matlab/Simulink.

Predstavitev trenutnih postopkov testiranja in razvojnih dejavnosti Laboratorija za avtomobilsko mehatroniko na Univerzi za uporabne znanosti v Dresdnu (HTWD) je dostopna TUKAJ.

We are pleased to invite you to a seminar and a live demonstration of an AEB vehicle featuring Toralf Trautmann, a distinguished physicist and professor of Automotive Mechatronics at the University of Applied Sciences Dresden (HTWD).

During the Monday (RIN) seminar, Prof. Trautmann will share insights into his extensive research in the field and unfold the fascinating journey of how he and his group developed an Autonomous Vehicle.

Additionally, Prof. Trautmann will give live demonstration of an AEB vehicle on Thursday, 14 March 2024, at 3 pm, in the parking lot in front of the Livade 1.0 building in Izola. The event is open to all enthusiasts interested in Automotive Software and its development.

His research areas include the development and testing of advanced driver assistance systems, surrounding sensors (Lidar, Radar, Camera) and data fusion, approval processes for autonomous vehicles, as well as the development of software and prototyping using Matlab/Simulink.

Presentation of the current test procedures and development activities of the Laboratory for Automotive Mechatronics at the Dresden University of Applied Sciences (HTWD) is available HERE.
