Tuesday, 28 October 2025 The First Tea Talk with the Psychologist of the Year was successfully held

The first Tea Talk of the year, held on October 27th at 4 p.m., focused on the inclusion of people with disabilities, featuring Jeanette Hadaschik, who shared insights drawn from her experiences, research, and practice.

During the event, research psychologist and consultant Jeanette Hadaschik (MSc) provided insights into the inclusion of people with disabilities, drawing on her personal life experiences, academic research, and practical work in creating more inclusive workplaces. She introduced key concepts such as ableism, and the social and medical models of disability, illustrating how these influence participation and a sense of belonging in education, the workplace, and everyday life.

Jeanette also shared her experiences with disability inclusion at Maastricht University, where she collaborates with the UnliMited Network and the Disability Inclusion Group, and spoke about what can help institutions transition toward greater inclusivity.

Jeanette works as a researcher and consultant in behavioral science and disability inclusion at Evidentia Behavioral Insights. She is also an external PhD student in psychology at Maastricht University (Netherlands).
