Tuesday, 29 July 2025 Research Visit from Tilburg University

In July, we were also visited by Prof. Dr. Edwin van Dam from Tilburg University in the Netherlands, who stayed with Giusy Monzillo from the Department of Mathematics at UP FAMNIT as part of a research visit.  

"The purpose of my visit was to continue a fruitful collaboration with Giusy Monzillo and Safet Penic, which began one year ago, focusing on imprimitive graphs and their algebras of idempotents. Although it was a short stay, it was quite productive from a research perspective, and I thoroughly enjoyed the place, the food, the climate, and the company of Famnit colleagues. I hope to come back soon, possibly for a longer period," he adds.
