Thursday, 26 June 2025 Celebration of Paul Terwilliger's 70th Birthday

Between June 23 and 28, a conference was held in Kranjska Gora to celebrate the 70th birthday of Paul Terwilliger. The main theme of the conference focused on the mathematical fields that Paul has worked on throughout his career, all of which are related to the q-Onsager algebra.

The event was attended by 66 participants from 16 countries, including Slovenia, the Philippines, Canada, the USA, Brazil, China, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, Sweden, Belgium, Croatia, and France. A total of 42 speakers presented talks during the conference.

The conference was organized by UP FAMNIT, UP IAM, the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Mechanics (IMFM), and the Slovenian Society for Discrete and Applied Mathematics (SDAMS).
