Agronomy Students Begin the New Academic Year by Harvesting Olives

Second-year Agronomy students began the new academic year in a slightly different way – by harvesting olives in the area surrounding the Livade 1.0 building in Izola.

As part of their practical work, the students harvested olives of the ‘Štorta’ and ‘Istrska Belica’ varieties and prepared them using a traditional Istrian method of preserving olives. In this way, they connected their knowledge with a hands-on experience and the agricultural traditions of the environment in which they study.
