Accessibility statement
This accessibility statement applies to the website of the UP FAMNIT and is available at: https://www.famnit.upr.si/.
To ensure accessibility requirements, the website provides:
- a user-friendly and easy-to-navigate interface;
- readable, logically structured content with simple navigation;
- content equipped with internal and external links for better connectivity;
- responsive design (layout adapts to screen resolution);
- appropriate color contrast between text and background;
- predictable website behavior;
- the ability to zoom the page up to 200% (partial compliance with standards);
- support for multiple heading levels.
We continuously monitor and improve the accessibility of the website. The site https://www.famnit.upr.si/ is partially compliant with the Slovenian Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.
Level of compliance
The website https://www.famnit.upr.si/ is partially compliant with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.
Non-accessible content
UP FAMNIT is committed to ensuring the accessibility of all content on its website in accordance with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act. Nevertheless, some older archived content may still contain certain accessibility issues. These include, in particular:
- some images in older archived posts that do not have appropriate alternative text (ALT description),
- scanned documents in PDF format,
- individual archived content published before the website was redesigned, which has not yet been fully reviewed for accessibility.
We regularly monitor the website’s accessibility and promptly address any issues we identify.
Statement / Assessment of Disproportionate Burden
In 2026, UP FAMNIT updated its website to make it easier to use and more accessible for everyone. The redesign followed the SIST EN 301 549 V3.2.1 standard and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
Even with these improvements, some older archived content from before the redesign might still have parts that do not fully meet accessibility standards.
Fully adapting all historical archived content would place a disproportionate administrative and human resources burden on UP FAMNIT. Therefore, any identified accessibility issues are addressed gradually as part of the regular maintenance and updating of the content.
