Call for Doctoral Candidates: Present Your Research at an International Conference

Organized by the University of Rijeka and the University of Klagenfurt

From the 13^th till the 14^th of November, on the campus of the university of Rijeka, there will be a PhD conference, that will focus on Dual-Use technologies and Artificial Intelligence.
Doctoral candidates are invited to present their research though oral or poster presentations. The call is open to doctoral candidates from all disciplines whose research is relevant to the conference theme.

Submission Requirements:

• Presentation title
• Author(s)’ name(s)
• E-mail address
• University and doctoral programme
• Abstract (maximum 500 words)
• Preferred presentation format (oral or poster)

The working language if the conference is English

Key dates:

18 September 2026 – Deadline for abstract submission

5 October 2026 – Notification of acceptance

13-14 November 2026 – International PhD Conference, University of Rijeka
