Submission Deadline Extended – IRIC2026

The International Conference InnoRenew CoE 2026 (IRIC2026) invites submissions of abstracts and active participation at the conference until 15 September 2026.

The conference will be held 5–6 November 2026 at the InnoRenew CoE building in Izola.

IRIC2026 provides an opportunity to share and discuss emerging science and innovations in renewable materials and their use in creating healthy and sustainable buildings. The conference places special emphasis on supporting the career development of PhD students and early career researchers.

We invite you to submit your doctoral research, ongoing research, methodological discussions or preliminary results. Contributions from PhD students and early career researchers are especially encouraged and warmly welcomed.

This year’s thematic sessions are related to advanced manufacturing, information processing, creativity & society, buildings, health and materials. Other related topics are also welcome.

You are kindly invited to submit your abstract until 15 September 2026 and join IRIC2026!

The keynote speaker at IRIC2026 will be Gijs Bruggink.

Gijs Bruggink works at ORGA architect while also pursuing his career as a consultant and researcher in the regenerative built environment. He is a Living Future Accredited Professional and has contributed to award-winning building projects, led architecture competitions, and spoken at international conferences. He currently leads the research team behind the Wood & Wellbeing report on the health benefits of building with timber.

IRIC2026 will also feature workshops on the responsible use of artificial intelligence, citizen science, networking activities and scientific presentation sessions. More information will be provided soon.
