Today, we hosted 20 students and two professors from Gimnazija Škofja Loka.
Students were engaged in two different workshops to explore the brain's structure, which is similar to a mathematical object called a graph. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rok Požar from the Department of Information Sciences and Technologies explained some basic concepts from graph theory and their applicability, illustrated with examples of neurological disorders.
The day concluded with a workshop titled "Little Secrets of Great Students," led by Maja Koblar from the University of Primorska. During the workshop, students learned tricks and secrets that student life offers: access to information, understanding the system, increasing employability, taking advantage of available opportunities, and much more.
