We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 15th Knowledge Platform Forum, entitled The European Degree Label – From Initiative Development to Implementation, organised by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Slovenia as an online event on Monday, 21 September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (CEST).

During the event, we will present the Operational Guide for the Joint European Degree Label, published by the European Commission earlier this year, and open a discussion on the opportunities and challenges related to its implementation within the Slovenian higher education system. Particular attention will be given to the relationship between the Joint European Degree Label, the development of joint study programmes, quality assurance in higher education, and the expectations of students and employers.

A draft programme is attached, available only in Slovenian.

An opportunity is now open for associations, organisations, institutes, companies, and other community groups to present their activities, programmes, and services to students of the University of Primorska at the social event ŠtartUP.

ŠtartUP is designed to introduce students to a wide range of opportunities for spending their free time actively, participating in extracurricular activities, and connecting with the local community.

Applications for exhibitors are open until 15 September 2026 via the online application form.

To reserve your exhibition space, please make a donation of at least €10 to the humanitarian organisation Palčica Pomagalčica. (Humanitarian organisations may participate free of charge.)

At the University of Primorska (hereinafter: UP), we are aware of the importance of acquiring new knowledge and thus increasing the potential of our employees.

In order to pursue the goal of a balanced staff structure within the Medium-Term Development Strategy of the University of Primorska 2025-2030, goal 14.4 “Implementation of regular internal trainings for employees and providing of funds for co-financing lifelong education”, we publish the Internal call for co-financing the costs of tuition fees at the University of Primorska for administrative staff in the academic year 2026/2027.

We invite you to submit an application!

The application must contain:

• name and surname of the applicant,
• a short curriculum vitae of the applicant in any form, which should also include a short motivation letter from the applicant for applying to the call,
• the UP study program in which the applicant intends to enroll in the academic year 2026/2027,
• the UP study program in which the applicant intends to enroll as a second choice (if relevant),
• a copy of evidence of the average grade for the previous study if the applicant is applying for co-financing of a 2nd-cycle study,
• a copy of the certificate of completed secondary education if the applicant is applying for co-financing of a 1st-cycle study.
