This talk presents past and current research exploring how such mentalization skills help youth and young adults to navigate their alone time and time with friends and family (online and in person). Implications for future work on social cognitive development and well-being will be discussed, along with implications for intervention programs that focus on prosocial cognition and action in learning contexts.
