Study Without Borders: Preparing for an International Experience

You do not have to prepare for a study exchange on your own. The elective course Study Without Borders can support you along the way.

The course is intended for students considering a study exchange, as well as those wishing to strengthen their intercultural and communication skills, gain practical knowledge and broaden their horizons.

Applications are open until 5 October 2026 to students from all bachelor’s and master’s study programmes.

The course will be delivered in person, in English, during the second semester of the 2026/27 academic year at UP FHŠ. Students who successfully complete the course will receive 3 ECTS credits.

You will develop knowledge and skills in:

• Intercultural and multilingual communication and intercultural preparation;
• psychological preparation, responding to unfamiliar situations and seeking assistance;
• mobility programmes, relevant rules and European mechanisms;
• responding appropriately in crisis situations;
• practical preparation for international mobility, including arranging learning agreements, finding accommodation abroad and accessing other forms of support.
