Študente vseh stopenj vabimo k prijavi na Trieste Next International Academy 2026, ki bo potekala v okviru 15. Festivala znanstvenega raziskovanja Trieste Next v Trstu (Italija) med 25. in 27. septembrom 2026.

Letošnja tema festivala je »The Shape of Thought – Interactions Between Brains and Intelligences«, program pa bo obravnaval aktualna področja, kot so:

• umetna inteligenca in robotika,
• medicinske vede in biotehnologija,
• etika, inovacije in družba,
• kvantna fizika, vesoljsko gospodarstvo in nove tehnologije.

Izbrani udeleženci bodo prejeli štipendijo, ki vključuje:

• nastanitev med festivalom,
• kosila in večerje,
• lokalne prevoze,
• dostop do festivalskih dogodkov, delavnic in konferenc,
• obiske vrhunskih raziskovalnih centrov,
• certifikat o udeležbi.

Štipendija programa krije 50 % stroškov udeležbe. Izbrani kandidati morajo za potrditev sodelovanja v programu po prejemu obvestila o izboru poravnati participacijo v višini 260 EUR.

Doktorski študenti bodo lahko predstavili svoje raziskovalno delo na posebnih poster sekcijah.

Students at Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD levels are invited to apply for the Trieste Next International Academy 2026, taking place within the 15th edition of Trieste Next – Festival of Scientific Research in Trieste, Italy, from 25–27 September 2026.

This year's theme, “The Shape of Thought – Interactions Between Brains and Intelligences”, will explore key scientific and technological challenges, including:

• Artificial Intelligence and Robotics,
• Medical Sciences and Biotechnology,
• Ethics, Innovation and Society,
• Quantum Physics, Space Economy and Emerging Technologies.

Selected participants will receive a fellowship that includes:

• accommodation during the Festival,
• lunches and dinners,
• local transportation,
• access to Festival events, workshops and conferences,
• guided visits to internationally renowned research centres,
• an official Certificate of Participation.

The fellowship covers 50% of the participation fees. Upon selection, students are required to confirm their participation in the Academy Program by paying a participation fee of €260.

PhD students will also have the opportunity to present their research during dedicated poster sessions.
